Garage Builders Maine is a full-service contractor, from a single-bay garage to a ground-up custom home, working across Central Maine out of Augusta.
Those are the eight services we build, in alphabetical order. Every one starts with the owner walking your site in person, not a phone quote.
Not sure which fits? Pick the closest, or reach out and we'll point you to the right one.
Serving 20 towns across Central Maine
Kennebec, Lincoln, and Sagadahoc County, from Augusta out to Wiscasset.
How we work, across every service
Every project starts with the owner walking your site personally. No sales-rep handoff.
We give you a real range up front and explain what changes the number. We also call out delays from permitting and material lead times instead of glossing over them.
Maine doesn’t license general contractors, so vetting us means checking our insurance and references. Look at our past work, too.

You are not going to get handed to a sales rep.
I started on the tools in 2018. Laborer first, then project manager, mostly on custom homes, timber frames, and historic renovations around Central Maine.
Somewhere in there I put in three and a half years on the estimating and sales side. That is where I learned that most of what goes wrong on a job goes wrong before anyone picks up a hammer.
I started Garage Builders Maine in 2020. Since then I have built more than 50 garages and more than 30 homes start to finish, and I still walk every job myself. Not as a marketing line. It is how I know what is actually happening on your property.

Maine does not license general contractors, so there is no license for me to wave at you. What I have is work you can go look at and a phone number I answer.

Common questions about our services
Most projects fit cleanly into one service, but tell us what you're planning and we'll point you to the right one, or the right combination, before you have to guess from a list.
The owner walks every job personally and runs the crew. On multi-trade projects we bring in the same trusted subs every time, not whoever is cheapest that week, and we stay the one accountable party.
Maine does not license general contractors, so there is no license number to check. Vetting us should mean checking insurance, references, and real past work instead.
We walk your site in person before naming a number, then give you a real range and explain what drives it, including the slow parts like permitting and material lead times.
We build across Kennebec, Lincoln, and Sagadahoc counties, from Augusta out to Wiscasset. See our full service area for the towns we cover.
